Impact can be :  traffic on a website, more visitors , increased participation on blog, more mind share, attract ppl who are potential customers, a rise in positive social mention, and even increased sales.
To sum up everythin a tool like Xiti can calculate... But then you have ROI, which is only a related business metric. So, no more visitors, pages views, repeat users... ROI can only be measured in a amount of money.

Since you understand that, you and I are speaking the same language.

Olivier Blanchard describes it very well (as usual) so you can take a look at his blog.

It would be great if someone could give me the recipe to evaluate the ROI of Community management... Is somebody still there?? =)
I found myself a bit trapped when I read some articles bout this topics applied to social media... This is also why I would share this. I'll work on it...
